The school admits the majority of its Main School population in Year 7, based on a banding assessment undertaken in Year 6. There is very little movement in the school population thereafter and currently, the school is full.
The first stage in the admissions process is to register for the banding assessment (opens 1 July 2025).
Music applicants should follow the instructions at the end of the banding assessment registration.
The deadline for online registration is midday on Tuesday 23 September 2025.
You will receive an email informing you of the outcome of your daughters' banding assessment on or before Friday 31 October 2025.
Open Days/Evening Year 7:
Prospective parents and their children are cordially invited to our open events.

| Monday 22 September 2025 | 5pm–7pm |
Each open event will include a tour of the school and a talk by the Headteacher, as well as an opportunity to ask questions about the admissions process. There is no need to register for the open events. Please arrive promptly. The event lasts for 2 hours.
Dates for Banding and Musical Aptitude Assessment sessions:

Please arrive promptly. The assessment lasts for 45 minutes.
Musical Aptitude Assessment Sessions:

Please arrive promptly. The assessment lasts for 1.5 hours.
You will receive an email on or before Friday 10 October 2025 informing you whether your child has been successful and inviting you to book an available time for the performance session online.
If your child is selected to attend the music performance session, they will be held on:
| Thursday 16 October 2025 | Between 4.00pm and 6.30pm |
| Friday 17 October 2025 | Between 4.00pm and 6.30pm |
Please note, the performance should last no longer than five minutes.
Secondary school national offer day:
